F&B Connect UAE ("F&B Connect", "we", "us" or "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information.
This Privacy Policy explains how F&B Connect collects, uses, stores, shares and protects personal information when you use the F&B Connect website, platform, talent database and related recruitment services (collectively, the "Platform").
This Privacy Policy applies to both:
Job Seekers who create profiles or otherwise provide information to F&B Connect; and
Employers and Hiring Companies who register for or use F&B Connect recruitment services.
By using the Platform or providing personal information to us, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree with the practices described in this Privacy Policy, you should not use the Platform or provide personal information to us.
This Privacy Policy should be read together with the F&B Connect Terms & Conditions.

2. WHAT PERSONAL INFORMATION DO WE COLLECT?
The information we collect depends on how you use F&B Connect.
2.1 Job Seekers
When you create a Job Seeker profile, we may collect information such as:

Email address;
Telephone number, where provided;

Current and previous employers;
Job titles;
Employment history;
Years of experience;
Preferred roles;
Skills;
Qualifications;
Availability;
CV or résumé;
LinkedIn profile URL;
Professional profile information;

Other information you voluntarily provide through your profile or CV.
You should only provide information that is relevant to your professional profile and employment search.
Please do not include passwords, bank account information, payment card information, government identification numbers or other highly sensitive personal information in your CV or profile unless specifically requested for a legitimate and stated purpose.
3. INFORMATION COLLECTED FROM EMPLOYERS
If you register as an Employer or Hiring Company, we may collect:
Your name;
Job title;
Company name;
Company email address;
Telephone number;
Company address;
Company website;
Recruitment requirements;
Account login information;
Subscription information;
Payment and billing information;
Information required to verify your organisation;
Communications with F&B Connect;
Information relating to your use of the Platform.
Where payment processing is handled by a third-party payment provider, F&B Connect may not receive or store your complete payment-card details.
4. INFORMATION COLLECTED AUTOMATICALLY
When you use the Platform, we may automatically collect certain technical information, such as:

Verifying Job Seeker profiles;
Verifying Employer accounts;
Processing subscriptions and payments;

Protecting the security of the Platform;
Complying with applicable laws and legal obligations;
Establishing, exercising or defending legal claims;

We will not use personal information for purposes that are incompatible with the purpose for which it was collected unless permitted or required by applicable law.
7. JOB SEEKER PROFILES AND THE TALENT DATABASE
The primary purpose of the F&B Connect talent database is to allow hiring companies to identify F&B professionals who may be suitable for employment opportunities.
When a Job Seeker creates a profile and chooses to participate in the talent database, relevant professional information may be made available to verified Employers using F&B Connect.
This may include:
Name;
Professional experience;
Current or previous roles;
Preferred roles;
Skills;
Availability;
Location;
Qualifications;
CV;
LinkedIn profile information;
Other professional information provided by the Job Seeker.
The specific information visible to Employers may depend on the information provided by the Job Seeker and the functionality of the Platform.
8. CONNECT STATUS
Job Seekers can control whether their profile is available to Employers through their Connect Status.
When a Job Seeker selects "Don't Connect", their profile will be hidden from Employer searches while that status remains active.
When the Job Seeker makes their profile active again, it may become available to verified Employers.
Changing Connect Status does not necessarily remove information that an Employer has previously viewed or downloaded.
9. HOW EMPLOYERS CONTACT JOB SEEKERS
F&B Connect currently facilitates candidate contact by email.
An authorised Employer may contact a Job Seeker regarding a relevant employment opportunity using the email functionality provided through the Platform.
F&B Connect does not provide WhatsApp messaging as part of its candidate-contact functionality.
If a Job Seeker voluntarily includes a telephone number on their CV, that telephone number may be visible to an authorised Employer who has access to that CV.
Job Seekers should therefore consider carefully what contact information they include in their CV.
F&B Connect does not control how an Employer uses a telephone number after it has been voluntarily included by the Job Seeker and made available through the Platform.
Employers are responsible for using candidate contact information lawfully and only for legitimate recruitment purposes.
10. EMPLOYER ACCESS TO CANDIDATE INFORMATION
Verified Employers may use F&B Connect to:
Search the talent database;
View candidate profiles;
View candidate CVs;
Download candidate CVs;
Contact candidates regarding genuine employment opportunities.
Employer access is intended solely for legitimate recruitment purposes.
Employers must not:
Sell candidate information;
Rent or license candidate information;
Publish candidate information;
Create a competing candidate database;
Use candidate information for unrelated marketing;
Share candidate information with unauthorised third parties;
Scrape or systematically extract the database;
Use candidate information for purposes unrelated to recruitment.
Employers may share candidate CVs internally with employees or authorised representatives who have a legitimate role in the relevant recruitment process.
11. WHO CAN ACCESS YOUR INFORMATION?
Depending on how you use the Platform, personal information may be accessed by:
F&B Connect personnel who need access to operate the Platform;
Verified Employers using the talent database;
Service providers supporting F&B Connect;
Payment processors;
Hosting and technology providers;
Analytics and security providers;
Professional advisers;
Legal or regulatory authorities where required or permitted by law.
We do not sell Job Seeker personal information as a standalone data product.
Candidate information is made available to authorised Employers as part of the recruitment services provided by F&B Connect.
12. SERVICE PROVIDERS
F&B Connect may use third-party service providers to help operate the Platform.
These may include providers of:
Website hosting;
Cloud storage;
Database services;
Email delivery;
Payment processing;
Analytics;
Cybersecurity;
Customer support;

14. HOW LONG DO WE KEEP PERSONAL INFORMATION?

15. DELETING A JOB SEEKER PROFILE
Job Seekers may delete their F&B Connect profile at any time.
When a Job Seeker deletes their profile, F&B Connect will remove the profile from the active talent database and delete or securely destroy associated personal information, subject to information that F&B Connect is legally required or permitted to retain.
Once the profile has been removed from the active database, it will no longer be available to Employers through F&B Connect.
However, F&B Connect cannot control or delete copies of information that an Employer previously downloaded.
Employers are responsible for managing and deleting candidate information they have downloaded in accordance with applicable law.
16. YOUR RIGHTS
Subject to applicable law, individuals may have rights relating to their personal information, which may include the right to:
Request access to personal information held about them;
Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information;
Request deletion of personal information in appropriate circumstances;
Request restriction of certain processing;
Object to certain processing;
Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent;
Request information about how personal information is processed;
Raise a complaint regarding the handling of personal information.

This communication occurs because the Job Seeker has chosen to participate in the F&B Connect talent database.
F&B Connect does not guarantee the content, frequency, suitability or outcome of communications sent by Employers.
Employers are responsible for ensuring that their communications comply with applicable laws and these Terms.
20. PROFILE VERIFICATION
F&B Connect may use information such as a live LinkedIn profile to assist with Job Seeker profile verification.
The LinkedIn URL or other professional information provided by a Job Seeker may be processed for verification purposes.
Verification is intended to improve the quality and credibility of the talent database.
Verification does not guarantee the accuracy of every piece of information provided by a Job Seeker.
21. EMPLOYER VERIFICATION
F&B Connect may collect and process information necessary to verify Employers before granting access to the talent database.
This may include information about:
The organisation;
Company representatives;
Business activities;
Recruitment requirements;
Contact details;
Other information reasonably necessary for verification.
F&B Connect may refuse or restrict access where an Employer cannot be appropriately verified.
22. PAYMENT INFORMATION
Where Employers purchase paid services, payments may be processed through third-party payment providers.
F&B Connect may receive information such as:
Payment status;
Transaction reference;
Billing information;
Subscription information;
Partial payment-card information where provided by the payment processor.
Full payment-card details may be handled directly by the applicable payment provider rather than stored by F&B Connect.
Payment providers operate under their own privacy policies and terms.

F&B Connect takes reasonable technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal information against:
